How to Make Complaint for Defective Product or Bad Service
Many a times it happens that a product we buy is defective or is completely fraud. Or we go to a restaurant, we are not given properly cooked food or stale food. Or some shops are charging high price.
We sometimes try to bring to the notice of the seller/service provider who may do nothing about it. And most of the time, we just keep quite thinking that there is no solution to it.
The Ministry of Commerce and Industries (MCI) has set up channels to lodge complain against such defective services or products.
You can lodge your complain online on their website or by calling them on their toll free number.
We give you here the details for both the channels:
TELEPHONE
You can directly call on 800 123 1616 and lodge your complain.
ONLINE
You can lodge a complaint by going to Complaint form on MCI website and writing your complain.

STEP 1
Go http://www.mci.gov.sa/en/Pages/Default.aspx
STEP 2
Then move your mouse pointer over the Consumer Corner picture.
STEP 3
As soon as mouse pointer goes over the picture, the picture will change into text as shown below.
Click “Report” to report fraud or bad service.
STEP 5
Click “Reporting on a commercial fraud”
STEP 5
You will get the form as shown below in Arabic. You can lodge you complain there.
