News – New Labor Laws to be implemented after 2 months

The National Committee of Saudi Arabia has announced that new rules and regulations regarding the Labor sector of the Kingdom will be announced within the following two months. The new rules will include a number of points for the working sector in KSA. One of which is that instead of working after 10 days of her husband’s death, a Muslim women will be granted a period of 4 months and 15 days’ work leave.

Proposals regarding vacations and working hours for the people have been submitted again to the Shoura Council for approval and discussion. The National Committee had put forward a proposal that was beneficial and in favor of the employees, while the other presented by the Chamber of Commerce and industry was in favor of the employers.
