News – King Salman cuts short his vacation at the French Riviera

SAUDI ARABIA: Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman was off to a personal vacation in France a few weeks back, but left the French Riviera unpredictably because of the public outrage over the beach which was closed due to the arrival of the royal’s.

The beach will be reopening to the public and locals for swimming and leisure activities. According the authorities the vacation was supposed to be a three week stretch but was cut short due to the privatization of the land that caused a stir in the residents. High security was placed around the King’s Villa and closure of the land forced 150,000 people to sign a petition and raise the issue of national and global platforms.

King Salman had arrived on the French land with the authorities and delegations for a span of three weeks but later departed because of the anger and controversy on the matter. The matter was not made official or immediate but as reported the King has ended his stay at Golfe-Juan.
