Many a times we make payment for government fees (MOI) for various services like Exit re-entry visa, Sponsorship Transfer, profession change, driving license etc but later on, due to various reasons we decide not to go for this services. At that point you may want to withdraw the money that you have deposited.
We give you here step by step process for withdrawing your money.
First check if you have any money in your MOI account – How to check funds online.
To refund; login into the bank account you used to make payment intially.
In our example we used SABB bank make the payment and then we use the SAME bank account to refund the amount.
The process for other banks is similar.
Once you login; click Payments.
In the drop down menu, click on Government Payments.
Select the required type of service for which you made payment earlier.
For “Transaction Type”, select “Refund”.
Select the service type
Then type the iqama number and click Request.
You will get the below screen confirming that your request has been accepted. The amount will not be refunded immediately, it will take from 1 to 3 days.
You can check if the amount has been refunded to your account by checking your bank account later or on Ministry of Interior website.
